Additionally, she volunteers as a teen hotline responder and participates in protecting the PV Blue butterfly from extinction. Tristan enjoys gardening, cooking, and playing video games with his friends in his free time. In the lab, his projects consist primarily of performing maintenance, culture storage, and patient sample processing.

Nicole is a senior in high school working towards a public health major pathway. In addition to working at our lab, she is also a volunteer pathology assistant at the UCLA Graduate School of Public Health for Prostate Caner. In her free time, she enjoys figure skating; representing the United States, she has figure skated for over a decade.
